Hi and Welcome to OFF, Over Fifty Forum,
I'm Trish. I had RNY nine years ago in August. We are a great group of friends. We laugh, cry, and lovingly kick each others' butts. Our goal is to travel this journey together.
Would love to know a first name.
Love,
Trish

Hi Carla and my OFF family:
Carla, the world traveler, on the road again. Hope the revision specialist is good. Welcome to our newbie.
The pool is open at the Y and I'm so happy. I'm tired but determined to get to the Y again. Then I have appointments this afternoon at my therapist and chiropractor. I need to get cracking on the packing and pitching. Moving is just a week off.
Someone is supposed to come and look at the washer this afternoon after I get home. Hope this person is serious. Last guy yesterday wanted the w/d pair for $100.
Not much else happening. Hope everyone has a good day.
Good morning Carla and OFF-
Carla I woke up this morning and couldn't remember what day of the week it was so your thread was timely. How long will you be in Illinois? Don't fill the SUV up too much cuz you might want to bring some stuff home.
Welcome Akanikkie. Tell us a little more about yourself and how you are doing with your sleeve.
Trish sent you a FB message with my college roomie's name. She's only lived in Okemos for eight years before that she was in Big Rapids. Hope you can get together.
Eileen it's you weekend now. Hope you have some time to rest and that your backache gets resolved today with the chiropracter.
Today the handyman will come to repair one shingle on the roof. I discovered one shingle sliding off the roof the other day. That will not do when you're trying to sell a house. It looks like it was never nailed on the roof. Fortunately he's flexible and can come today to take a look at it.
Thoughts going out to Mary. Hope you are able to get in touch with Jim's friends today.
Vickie hope you are happily sewing today and a grandson free today. That's a lot of work. How did that chocolate ice cream turn out last night?
Julia hope your recovery is going well. Hadn't even thought that you would have food restrictions. Duh! a little dense this week.
Well off to do the little chores. Thoughts and hugs going out to all of you.

Thank you for the warm welcome all! My name is Nikkie. I have lived in the Nashville area since 2004 and love it! I am originally from Portland, OR and still miss the ocean. My journey with my sleeve has really gone very smoothly. The only thing that ever has gotten in the way is me, myself and I. Somedays, I have really had a time with head hunger and sometimes win the battle and sometimes lose. I am so grateful though for no complications with surgery/recovery. Also happy to be a part of this group.
Good Afternoon Carla and OFF,
Carla, if you have time, I'd love to see you again. That diner made a great Greek omelette. Plus, I need to go back to the Teacher Store right near it to get stuff for the Children's program at church.
I went to get my INR checked this morning. Then, I got some groceries. Now, I'm getting ready to see if I can get the mower working again. I plan of kicking it, threatening it, and explaining that I really need to get the grass cut.
Edit:
I forgot it is the first day of school here in Michigan.
Must scoot.
Love and prayers,
Trish
